Worcestershire Safeguarding Children's Board is responsible for the protection and wellbeing of children in the county. The overall role of WSCB is to coordinate local work within the various agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and to ensure the effectiveness of what the member organisations do individually and together. Inter-agency working is at the heart of safeguarding and protecting children and the WSCB works to ensure that all the agencies communicate with one another in the interests of the child.
If you have any concerns about a particular child then contact the FAMILY FRONT DOOR. This is the single way to report a concern about a child or request additional help for a family.

CSE involves children and young people under 18 in exploitative situations, contexts and relationships where young people receive ‘something’ as a result of them performing, and/or another or others performing on them, sexual activities.

The main purpose of Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB) is to promote wellbeing and reduce the risk of harm for people with care and support needs.
WSAB operate at a strategic level to monitor the effectiveness of the safeguarding work carried out by all of our partner members and partner agencies. They seek to promote a culture within the County that recognises the values and principles contained in ‘Making Safeguarding Personal’.
