Tree Planting

Sapling In HandsThe Parks and Open Spaces section have a small budget for tree replacement. From 2008 to 2011 there have been around 180 standard trees and over 3000 whips planted within the district, to replace trees removed or creating new areas of woodland and hedges within the parks and open spaces.

We are committed to planting trees within our parks and open spaces, so if you have an idea for a good location for a new tree or would like to have a memorial tree planted please contact the Arboricultural Officer, Alvan Kingston on 01562 732548.
