Showcase of Services for Older People

A free Showcase of Services for Older People is being held on Thursday 7 October at Kidderminster Town Hall, 10am to 1.30pm.
Organised by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with Simply Limitless, 'Age UK BRWF' and Carefour, the event will feature a wide range of organisations offering advice and information on a range of topics including healthy living, finances, benefits and local services.
There will even be a chance to get a free electric blanket safety test. Simply call Age UK 'BRWF' on 01527 570490 to book an appointment (limited availability).
Councillor Nicky Martin, Cabinet Member for Housing, Health, Wellbeing and Democratic Services said: “Last year’s showcase was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I’m delighted we are able to run it this year and once again highlight the wide range of services available for older residents in our community.
“There will be lots of useful information on hand on a wide range of topics of interest to older people which could really help improve someone’s health and wellbeing. It promises to be a fun day that should not be missed!”
