There is plenty going on at Bewdley Museum over the next month to keep the whole family entertained.
The Museum, which is managed by Wyre Forest District Council, has organised children’s craft activities over the school Easter holidays. These include decorating ceramic Easter eggs, making bonnets, creating bird houses and sun catchers. The activities will be running from 11am – 3.30pm weekdays between Monday 10 April and Friday 21 April. All children must be supervised by an adult and activities cost £4 per child.
On Easter Sunday (16 April) there will be an Easter Egg hunt for children, in the Jubilee Gardens between 12pm and 3pm. The hunt costs £3 per child and everyone who completes the hunt receives an egg.
At the end of the month there is a Spring Fair at the Museum. Sunday 30 April and Monday 1 May will see plenty of additional entertainment in the grounds. There is live folk music and dance on the Sunday and an acoustic duo performing on the Monday. There will also be children’s craft activities on both days. An exhibition of painting, prints and drawing by artist who have suffered sight loss will be in the Saw Yard. The ‘Bones of the Landscape Exhibition’ will run until Sunday 25 June.
The Museum’s resident Made in the Museum crafts and artisan group will be at the Fair, along with trade stalls and the Shambles cafe will be open. The fair runs from 10am – 4pm and admission to the museum is free.

“Spring is a busy time at the museum and we will be kick starting our 2017 season. We are excited to be welcoming more visitors to the site and bringing a great range of events. The Easter activities and Spring Fair are always popular. There is no need to book, just come along! The best way to keep up to date with what’s happening at the museum is to follow us on Facebook.”
