Two Wyre Forest District Council parks have made it on to the shortlist of the UK's Best Park competition.
Brinton Park and Springfield Park in Kidderminster are among 200 local green spaces across the UK nominated for the award by the general public.
Competition organisers from the national charity Fields in Trust (formerly known as the National Playing Fields Association) have opened the online poll and are now encouraging people to vote for their favourite.
Cabinet member for operational services at Wyre Forest District Council Councillor Rebecca Vale said: “We are delighted that two of our parks have been nominated for this award.
“Our team works hard to make sure that the parks are great places to visit. At Springfield Park we are supported by a wonderful team of volunteers who make up the Friends Group.
“We think our parks are among the best in the country and we hope the public does too and votes for them.”

Friends of Springfield Park were awarded a No Barriers Award last week for helping improve the park's Stackpool which is now fully accessible for people of all abilities, including visitors in wheelchairs.
