Energy Efficient HouseAre you struggling to pay your energy bills and keep your home warm? Would you like to find out how you could make your home more energy efficient?

If so, then come along and talk to an impartial expert about the sorts of things you could do to save energy, money and keep warm this winter.

Wyre Forest District Council is organising a free energy advice drop in event in Kidderminster later this month and everyone is welcome.

The advice is provided by experts from ‘Act on Energy’ and the first session will be happening in Kidderminster library on Thursday 27th October 2016 from 10.00 am – 1.00 pm.

Councillor Sally Chambers, Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing said: “We know this can be a particularly worrying time of year for people and that’s why we organise these events to try and help make a real difference.

“If you have any concerns about your winter fuel bills, or just want to talk about how you might make your home more energy efficient, then please do make the most of this opportunity to get some free advice from an expert.”

If you are unable to get to this session and are a Wyre Forest resident then you can still obtain free energy advice by contacting Act on Energy on their free helpline on 0800 988 2881. More sessions will be announced in the next few weeks.
