Worcestershire Strategic Housing Partnership is asking for your views on its proposed housing plan for the area.
The Worcestershire Housing Partnership Plan sets out how housing related agencies and teams across Worcestershire will work together to deliver shared priorities. It also sets out to reflect how work is integrated between the various agencies and service areas.
This partnership plan has been developed to achieve the aims and ambitions set out in the National and Local Memorandum of Understanding.
Cllr Juliet Smith, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Housing said:
“This cross agency plan is an important framework to ensure all agencies are working together in the most effective way to meet housing needs. We need to ensure that there is enough housing, and that our housing is affordable, safe, warm, in good repair and, adapted where necessary to meet the needs of people across the county.
“The plan seeks to address the needs of our diverse population who have individual housing and support requirements. Providing enough of the right housing will have other benefits, such as improved health and wellbeing, educational achievement of children, employment, crime reduction and sustainable communities.”
