Right Royal DoJoin the royal buzz in Brinton Park this summer to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Wyre Forest District Council has organised a ‘Right Royal Do’ on Sunday 12 June. From 2pm – 8pm, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy an array of free entertainment.

The park will come to life with live music from Soul and Motown, Rattlesnake Jake, solo artist Sadie Owen and The Show Time Singers. Make sure you bring along your deck chairs, picnics and flags.

Local dignitaries and community groups will be attending the event. There will be a small service and a parade at 1.45pm.

A variety of food, drink and craft related stalls on offer, as well as a mini fun-fair with childrens rides and face painting.

BBC Hereford and Worcester will also be at the event talking to the crowd and seeing if anyone shares a birthday with the Her Majesty!

Councillor Sally Chamber, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing said:

“We’re excited to be hosting this fantastic free event to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday this summer and hope that the local community will join us and come together to mark this special event.”
