If you’re worried about your fuel bills this winter, then don’t miss out on some free and impartial advice at the latest series of special energy advice surgeries being organised by Wyre Forest District Council over the next few weeks.
The council has arranged for experts from Act On Energy to be at sessions in Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourport to offer residents free and impartial advice on how to save energy at home and reduce fuel bills.
Councillor Sally Chambers, Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing said:“We have been lucky this year to have a mild start to the winter but it can still be a worrying time of year, so if you are concerned about winter fuel bills, or just want to find out how you could make your home more energy efficient, then please come along. All advice is free and impartial.”
Energy advice surgeries will be held on:
Thursday 21 January 10am–1pm Bewdley Library
Saturday 30 January 10.30am–2.30pm Kidderminster Town Hall (as part of the Greener Living Show)
Thursday 18 February 10am–1pm Stourport Library
Residents wishing to attend an energy advice surgery can drop in at any time, no need to book. Act on Energy also run a free energy helpline on 0800 988 2881 for anyone who can’t make it to any of these sessions.
