Damaged Holly TreeVandals may have destroyed the last holly tree standing in Brinton Park.

They drove a vehicle through a hedge in Talbot Street last weekend (3-4 December) causing around £500 worth of damage.

Over the last few years 10 holly trees have been destroyed in the park and tree specialists are now battling to save this latest tree vandalised.

Cabinet member for Operational Services Councillor Rebecca Vale said: “It is such a shame that we have lost so many holly trees over the last few years. If anyone has any information about this latest act of vandalism I would urge them to contact the local police.”
