Residents looking for funding towards external wall insulation are invited to Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday 31 October.
Wyre Forest District Council has teamed up with Worcestershire County Council to provide up to £4,500 per property, funded through the Government’s Green Deal Communities Scheme.
This event will run from 10am – 1pm. Residents who own or privately rent a property with solid walls, as opposed to cavity walls, can find out more at the event and book a free, no obligation assessment if they wish.
Councillor Sally Chambers, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing, said:
“This information session gives residents chance to find out more about external wall insulation and the funding available. If you live in a solid wall property, this scheme is a great opportunity to get help with the cost of insulation and help reduce future fuel bills.
“As well as making your home more comfortable, this is also a great way to make your property look like new. Installations are happening now in the area and really making a difference to people’s homes.”
