Hundreds of Rock and Rollers and jive dancers enjoyed a day of live music on Sunday 31 May at Stourport Riverside Meadows.
This free event, organised by Wyre Forest District Council featured several local artists such as The Straight Aces, Ellie Scott, Leo Nicks and The Bobcats. Top DJ Guy Roles also kept visitors entertained during the day.
A variety of classical cars were showcased throughout the day proving popular with the crowds.
Councillor Sally Chambers, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing said:
“This year’s event saw residents and local visitors come together for an afternoon of quality entertainment. There’s lots going on in the area and it’s great to see tourism in Stourport thrive. I would like to encourage any local businesses to get in touch with the Events Team if they are interested in supporting future events via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
Anyone wishing to support the Council’s programme of free events can do so online.
