Energy experts Act On Energy will be on hand to offer free and impartial advice on all matters energy related at a free Energy Advice Surgery at the Kidderminster Hub, Kidderminster Town Hall on Thursday 16 October from 10.00am - 1.00pm.
An advisor will be offering impartial advice on how to save energy at home and reduce energy bills.
Councillor Anne Hingley, Wyre Forest District Council's Cabinet Member for Health and Well-being and Housing said:
“In a typical British home, one third of the heat produced by central heating systems is lost through the roof, walls and windows. This means that, in a poorly insulated home, £1 out of every £3 spent is wasted. These free advice sessions offer people the chance to find out about ways to cut their energy bills, such as through installing insulation and by making sure they’re on the best tariff.”
Further energy advice surgeries will be held on Thursday 13 November and Thursday 18 December 2014.
Residents wishing to attend an energy advice surgery can either drop in on the day or book with Act on Energy on 0800 988 2881.
