The historic surroundings of Bewdley Town Centre will play host to this year’s Christmas crafts fair which coincides with the light switch on.
Come and enjoy the festive cheer on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November from 10am. The Christmas crafts fair will be held in and around Load Street and Bewdley Museum with many unique and original stalls selling home made arts and crafts.
Finish off your Christmas shopping, listen to live music and indulge in seasonal refreshments and treats. Craft activities will also be available for children to lift the Christmas spirit from 12noon until 3:00pm. The crafts fair and all activities will continue on the Sunday.
Shoppers will benefit from free evening parking once again this festive period. From Saturday 15 November until Sunday 11 January (inclusive) the Council is making parking free in its car parks after 4.00pm.
The free evening parking offer is as well as the weekly free parking offers. Bromsgrove Street Car Park in Kidderminster is free on Wednesdays between 10.00am – 4.00pm. Dog Lane Car Park in Bewdley and Severn Meadows 1 (behind the Civic Centre) in Stourport-on-Severn are free on Thursdays between 10.00am – 4.00pm. This means on certain days visitors can park for free all day from 10am.
Bewdley Museum will be open on the Saturday at 10:00am-5:00pm and again on Sunday between 10:00am-4:30pm.
Councillor Anne Hingley, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing said:
“Bewdley’s annual Christmas crafts fair is a wonderful event during the run up to Christmas. There really is something for everyone, if you get chance to come down you will not be disappointed!”
