A free acoustic music event will be held at Habberley Valley Nature Reserve on Saturday 16 August 2014.
Music in the Valley is organised by Wyre Forest District Council, it shows off some amazing local talent at one of our prettiest nature reserves.
For the fourth year running it returns to the district with even more on offer than before. Performers include The Stiff Joints a local punk band, Jebby Malar an acoustic duo, Ellisha Green one girl and her guitar, Ridge Top Mountian Boys are made up of a double bass, violin and a banjo and Zoe Fuller one girl and her guitar will all be performing.
Live music begins at 4pm and will finish at 7pm. For the first year food and drink will be available for a small cost in the form of the Little Retro Kitchen, an airstream inspired caravan made in Stourport-on-Severn by Rocket Caravans.
A park and ride service will be available from Habberley Road Playing Fields between 3pm – 8pm for visitors to the event.
Councillor Anne Hingley, Cabinet Member for Health, Well-being and Housing said:
