The Worcestershire Homelessness Strategy 2012 - 2017 retains the vision from the previous strategy 'to ensure that everyone has access to a place they can call home, where they can close their door and feel safe'.

The Housing Assistance Policy, which commenced on 1st August 2016, sets out the basis on which Wyre Forest District Council will offer financial assistance (“Housing Assistance”) for works of adaption, repair or renewal in the private housing sector.
All housing assistance approved under this policy is either discretionary and are therefore subject to the District Council having sufficient funds or mandatory Disabled Facility Grants.
