5 Ways To Well Being - Take Notice

Take Notice

Valley Woodland SunsetBe curious. Catch sight of the beautiful. Remark on the unusual. Notice the changing seasons. Savour the moment, whether you are walking to work, eating lunch or talking to friends. Be aware of the world around you and what you are feeling. Reflecting on your experiences will help you appreciate what matters to you.

Ideas to get you started...

Regular Health Walks

A health walk is a short, purposeful walk undertaken on a regular basis. Although walking at any speed can be beneficial and to be good for the heart should be 'brisk' (i.e. more than
just a stroll). As well as improving physical health, organised walks can help improve mental wellbeing by providing an opportunity to socialise, a distraction from everyday stress and the opportunity to ‘take notice’ of the changing seasons and the surrounding environment.
