Emergencies

In accordance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, we are required to provide local arrangements for civil protection for emergencies. We have an Emergency Plan in place to ensure that services can be delivered during any major incident which may pose a threat to the welfare of the community.

Our role is to support the emergency services in the case of a major incident. During an emergency, delegated officers are on call 24 hours and are responsible for coordinating our response.

North Worcestershire Emergency Planning is a shared service between Wyre Forest, Redditch and Bromsgrove.
