Meetings Diary

The meetings diary gives the dates of Council, Cabinet and committee meetings. These are open to the public except when exempt information, such as information relating to the financial or business affairs of a particular person, is discussed. This will be noted on the agenda.

Meeting papers are normally available five working days before a meeting. If you click on a meeting date, you will be able to see the agenda and related papers that have been published for the meeting, except for exempt information. The agenda will also tell you where and when the meeting will be held and who to contact if you have any questions about that meeting.

You are welcome to come to Council, Cabinet, Committee and Sub-Committee meetings and to sit and listen to the discussions, except when exempt information, such as, information relating to the financial or business affairs of a particular person, is discussed. A reasonable number of public copies of the agenda papers are available at meetings.

You may not join in any of the discussions. However, at certain meetings, such as scrutiny committees, you may be invited to speak and special arrangements have been made for public speaking at the Planning Committee and full Council meetings.
