Getting the right help for a debt problem can be a
daunting process. There is a proliferation in the number of debt
management companies out there - they make competing claims about
the service that they can offer - but what they often fail to do is
to tell people about the fees that they charge. The Consumer Credit
Counselling Service is a national charity with over 15 years
experience of providing debt counselling. Like many commercial
companies, CCCS can set up a
debt management plan on your behalf - the difference is that -
as with all the advice offered by CCCS - it won’t cost you a penny.
and if you want to remain anonymous, that’s not a problem - CCCS
also run an online service called CCCS Debt Remedy
providing sound advice and budget planning 24 hours a day.
