The representation period on the Pre-Submission Publication Core Strategy has now closed.  It is anticipated that the Core Strategy will be submitted to the Secretary of State for Independent Examination in early April.  Further details will appear here.

Wyre Forest District has produced a Pre-Submission Publication Core Strategy on which representations are invited for a period of six weeks commencing on Thursday 7th January 2010. The closing date for representations is 5.30pm on Thursday 18th February 2010. Representations made after this time will not be accepted.

The Council is intending to submit the Core Strategy to the Secretary of State for Independent Examination in early April 2010. Prior to this, the Core Strategy is now published to enable representations to be made based on the document's soundness. (Further information on the Tests of Soundness is available from the representation guidance notes below) This pre-submission publication period will enable the Council to determine whether any changes need to be made before the document is submitted for examination by a Planning Inspector. All representations received at this stage will be submitted alongside the Core Strategy for the Inspector's consideration.
