Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)
As part of the Local Development Framework, the local planning
authority produces an Annual Monitoring Report at the end of each
year. This monitors the effectiveness of the Development Plan and
contains an update on progress made over the year with plan making
and policy implementation. In December 2010, Wyre Forest District
Council adopted its Core Strategy. This has meant that a number of
policies in the Adopted Local Plan (2004) have now been replaced by
the newer Core Strategy policies. This AMR details the
implementation of housing, employment, environmental and retail and
town centre policies. Following the Royal Assent and subsequent
commencement of parts of the Localism Act, formal submission of the
AMR will no longer be required. The latest AMR has now been
published and covers the period April 2010 to March 2011.

view of the current retail climate for potential investors who are
considering Kidderminster, Stourport or Bewdley as possible retail

Residential Land Availability
The Housing Land Availability report is produced twice a year
(October and April). The report monitors the number of
dwelling units completed since the previous update and looks at the
amount of land coming forward for residential development. It
provides detailed information and analysis of sites by location,
type of site and nature of dwellings to be provided on each
site.
