Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the intentions of
the District Council as the Local Planning Authority over a
three-year time frame. The document sets out a detailed programme
of work for producing the Local Development Documents (LDDs) which
will make up the Local Development Framework (LDF) to guide the
development of the District up to 2026. Appendix A of the LDS
provides a detailed timetable for the production of the Local
Development Framework. (All documents, when they are published or
