Housing Strategy
Wyre Forest District Council’s Housing Strategy covers the
period 2004 to 2007 and sets out the strategic aims for the coming
three years.
The strategy sets out the process by which its key housing
objectives are to be met and highlights the main areas of work that
need to be progressed. The previous strategy 2001 - 2006 was
supplemented by annual updates but it is intended that this
strategy will be updated for ease of use, on an annual basis.

The Tenants Services Authority (TSA), the new regulator for social
housing launched on 1st December, 2008, having taken over the
regulatory powers of the Housing Corporation need to understand
what issues matter most to tenants. That's why they are
holding the National Conversation, the TSA want to find out from
you what services you need and standards you expect. Only
then can they begin to develop standards for landlords that put
your priorities first. So for your chance to have your say
about standards in social housing go to the Tenant Services
