This is a series of Practice Notes and guidance on principles and practice for owners of historic buildings, whether Listed or not, or in a Conservation Area or not. They are designed to be quick reads, and give an outline of some of the basic principles we encourage, encouraging traditional construction and repair methods wherever possible and practical.
