Service Standards - Property Services
Role of Section
We will provide or procure appropriate advice on the management,
maintenance and design of Council Land and Property. We will
undertake minor repairs and improvements to the Council’s Land and
Property through the Building Maintenance operational team.
Functions of Section
- Asset Management i.e. preparation of the Council’s strategy for
property and the Asset Management Plan for the medium term.
- Estate Management i.e. negotiation of Acquisitions, Disposals,
Management of the Council’s investment and surplus property
portfolio, Rating and Valuation.
- Building Maintenance i.e. formulation of planned maintenance
programme, organisation of reactive repairs, design of minor
works.
- Construction Management i.e. procurement of project management,
design and cost management services.
- Implementation of repairs and minor works, for Wyre Forest
District Council and other Local Authority clients, including
Schools.
Service Standards
- We will not quote on a project for which we have insufficient
time or are otherwise unsuited to undertake.
- Quotations will state the price and what is and is not included
in the price.
- We will brief the client regularly on progress and if there are
any unavoidable problems or delays, will advise of these as soon as
possible.If there are changes to the work specified or extra costs,
these will be confirmed in writing and agreed before work
begins.
- We will treat the client with respect and ensure that the
working site remains a safe and healthy environment.
- When the work is complete, the site will be left in a clean and
tidy condition and ready for use.
- Any relevant operating instructions will be handed over to the
client.
- A date will be arranged for us to return and deal with any
defects which may have arisen during the first few months.
