Wyre Forest Parish Games
The parish games are a series of events in which local parishes
take part in a number of sporting competitions held at different
venues within Wyre Forest. This event has been running for
over ten years and continues to generate a friendly rivalry between
competing parishes.
The events take place between March and
June annually and at the end of the competition the
winning team from each event is awarded a trophy at a presentation
evening and the winning parish receives a shield to keep for a
year and a cheque for £100.00.These events are open to anyone who
lives or belongs to a club within one of the thirteen parishes of
the Wyre Forest District.

Please note when accessing the results page the winning team is
entered as 8 points for the winner of each event, 2nd has 7 points,
3rd has 6 points and so on. The points are carried over and the
team with the most points at the end of the games is the
winner.

Stourport On Severn with 43 points
2nd - Wolverley and Cookley 38 points
3rd - Upper Arley 34 points
4th - Chaddesley Corbett 29 points
5th - Churchill and Blakedown 28 points
6th - Rock 24 points
7th - Bewdley 23 points
The Chairman of Wyre Forest District Council, Councillor
Clee presented trophies to all the winners of the individual
events and a winning shield and a cheque to the
Co-ordinator, Janice Hopkins and Rosemary Morgan for Stourport On
Severn for the 2011 Parish Games.
Below is a list of all the events that happened for 2011. A
meeting will take place in September with the co-ordinators to
decide on the events for 2012.
