An interactive storytelling
puppet show!
Come and hear the wonderful tales of a loveable
adventurer in his tent full of weird and wonderful souvenirs at
Bewdley Museum on Saturday 15th October at 1.30pm. Entry is free
and the show lasts around 50 minutes.

... a trail performance for children under 10 and their
families
Meeting at Burlish Top car park in Stourport on Tuesday 25th
October 2011, performances are at 3pm and 5pm.
Places are free but limited and must be reserved in advance! All
children must be accompanied by an adult.

Halloween - Spooky Woodland Trail

Come dressed for your spooky woodland walk around Habberley
Valley on Monday 31st October. Booking is essential!
Session 1 : 5pm- 6pm
Session 2 : 6.30pm-7.30pm
Meet at Habberley valley car park 15 minutes before your
scheduled walk with receipt of your booking. Costing £2.50 per
person the event is suitable for children aged 5- 11years who must
be accompanied by a fee paying adult. Fancy dress is optional but
suitable footwear is essential. Prizes for the best dressed.

Play Rangers - Let's Go Out to Play!
Free outdoor play sessions for children of all
ages.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Play Rangers are experienced and qualified playworkers making
regular visits to your area. Activities include tree climbing, mud
pie making, camp fire cooking, torch tag, den making, raft
building, kite making, sculpting, crafts activities, pond dipping
and much more...
These sessions will include an end of project party.

Kick Racism Out of Football Week
Wyre Forest District Council Sports
Development are running FREE football sessions for children of all
abilities, aged between 9-14 years during October 2011 half
term.

The football sessions will be delivered by two
qualified football coaches with a great enthusiasm to promote the
FA ‘Kick Racism Out of Football’ campaign. The sessions will
aim to develop children’s skills and abilities. In addition
competitive small sided tournaments will also be played with prizes
to be won at the end of each session.
The venues, dates and times of the
sessions are:
Tuesday 25th, 1.00 - 3.00pm - St Georges Park, Radford
Avenue, Kidderminster
Wednesday 26th, 1.00 - 3.00pm - ShawHedge Road, Bewdley
Thursday 27th, 1.00 - 3pm - Barnfield Road, Stourport (supported by
Community Housing Group who will be providing different
fun activities and healthy food)
The last session of the week will
involve a community football tournament at Habberley Road
playing fields 11.00-3.00pm on Friday 28th October 2011.

FREE Football Sessions
During October half term Community
Support Officers will be holding free football sessions for
9-14year olds in support of the One Game, One Community weeks in
action.
Details are as follows:

Monster Moves
A street dance course with a
halloween twist...
During October half term, our dance
instructor will be running a community dance group at Stourport
Sport Club for young children aged 8+. The sessions will run
Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October 2011, each
session will run 1.00-3.00pm each day. For the three day
course there is a small charge of £6 per child.
