HIGHLY COMMENDED
Pubs (i.m. pub names)
The Castle’s keep is falling down.
Queen Victoria has lost her crown.
The New Inn’s now a pile of bricks
The Clock in the Tower no longer ticks
The Old Wagon has been turned over
And there’s no more return for the Rover.

Myself and my father see beer as a friend
The latter drank too much, who am I to break the trend?
One day I myself may become a dad,
When I can introduce Worcestershire Way to my lad,
Educating my boy of past family members who are missed,
Continuing the family tradition of always being pissed.
By Dale Evans
At 12 she wakes to that familiar aching
And finds herself making
The long trip for the pub
Looking for the first
Pint of cool refreshing temptation

Bruce Airhead
Totally original, high energy family street entertainment that
has been performed on three continents... laughed at by the crown
heads of Europe... mud splattered in the fields of Glastonbury
& enjoyed by everyone. One man and his balloon.
Town Criers Championship
Travelling from across the country, the bellowing voices and
glittering regalia of the Town Criers and their partners on parade
brought Kidderminster to a stand still. In a battle of the biggest
voice, the clearest message and dazzling costume, Criers took to
the stage outside the Town Hall and entertained young and old
alike.
Dizzy O'Dare
Kenning and his assistant Poppet the Puppet performed on their
travelling tight wire. With the audiences encouragement Poppet
performed the show of her life! A delightful tight wire show with
charming puppet.
Which way is up?
Science in a Suitcase presents Which way is UP? The British
Space Scientists attempt to get to the moon one step at a time.
This was comedy and science all in one go, you wouldn't have
believed it possible.
Musical Ruth
Musical Ruth returned to Kidderminster. If you can imagine Julie
Andrews, Liberace and Dame Edna rolled into one then you are
somewhere near Musical Ruth. This outrageous nun brought
her unique musical blend along with her electric grand piano to the
streets of Kidderminster for just one day.
