Bernards Puppet Bonanza
Venue: Outside Kidderminster Town Hall
Date:Saturday 14th August
Bernard brought his own brand of catastrophic
entertainment to Kidderminster on Saturday 14th
August. Bare bottomed dancing pigs and a smell
of cheap whisky punctuated this hilariously dark
portrayal of the classic tale Little Red Riding Hood.
Unlucky, down and out Bernard, battled with scratched records,
broken puppets and even fire, but the audience support helped him
through to the end.

Town Criers Championship
Venue: Outside Kidderminster Town Hall
Travelling from across the country,
the bellowing voices and glittering regalia of the Town Criers and
their partners on parade brought Kidderminster to a stand
still. In a battle of the biggest voice, the clearest
message and dazzling costume, Criers took to the stage outside the
Town Hall and entertained young and old alike.

Elliot and the Tooth Fairy

Fairy could help him. Young visitors to Town Hall went on a

and wonderful characters and singing magical songs.
Digital Interactive Graffiti Wall
Venue: Outside Town Hall
Just like the real thing, the Digital Graffiti Wall let everyone
regardless of skill hold a real spray can and create unique
edgy designs that were wiped away at the touch of a button. The
special cans had pressure sensitive caps and a full colour palette
to play with, as well as stencils and backgrounds that helped to
quickly build a professional picture.

Local legend, the source of many
stories and nightmares, 'Johnny the Cobbler' received his very own
memorial outside of Kidderminster Town Hall. Dom Dunlea local

passers by the chance to observe an artist at work and swap stories
of the infamous 'Johnny'.

Larkin About with The Grannies

Kidderminster did not quite know what
to think when The Grannies hit the streets. The sweet old ladies
took the town by storm, straddled upon tartan shopping
baskets, skidding and speeding, pumping out hip hop classics.

Skate Naked
Venue: Kidderminster Town Centre
Date: Thursday 26th August
Hilarious duo Skate Naked braved less
than ideal conditions to bring a very special acrobatic performance
to an unsuspecting audience outside of the Swan
Centre. Playing with fire and demonstrating feats of strength
and balance the act left the crowd stunned when their dark track
suits were ripped off revealing the tiniest of thongs. Tongue in
cheek to down right outrageous but all in the name of
entertainment.
Eli Pepper
Venue: Outside Town Hall
Date: Saturday 28th August
All the way from Louisiana, Eli Pepper
presented a back porch, cajun comedy to remember. Brilliant
puppetry and hillbilly songs brought a taste of the deep south to
Kidderminster.
Subway Deluxe
Venue: Comberton Hill Subway
Date: Saturday 28th August
Graffiti artists from across the country came together to
transform the subways at Comberton Hill into lush art galleries.
Original works of art have been framed in brilliant gold for all to
enjoy. The artists, led by local artist Dom Dunlea created a
buzz of activity and the area usually avoided by the public
was alive with activity.

Drum Love
Keeping the artists company at Comberton Hill, Drum Love created
a party atmosphere inviting spectators to join in drumming
workshops. The rythmic beats were added to by members of the Severn
Valley Samba Band who then carried on the festival with
performances into the afternoon.
