Sports Development
The Sports Development Section is committed to developing and
maintaining sporting opportunities for the whole community. We
achieve this by working closely with The Sports Partnership
Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The Sport Development
Officer also works with The School Sports Partnership and local
clubs to produce the Sport Unlimited Plan.
The Sports Development Officer is also supported by the Physical
Activity Officer, a full time and part time Community Sports
Coach and a full time Dance Instructor.
The Sport Unlimited Plan
The Sport Unlimited Plan aims to increase opportunities for
children and young people to participate in extra-curricular Sport
and Physical Activity. The plan is written in partnership with Wyre
Forest's School Sports Partnership Development Manager and local
clubs.
