Becoming a Sports Volunteer

Sports Makers

Sport Makers.  Be part of the Olympic Legacy

The Olympics and Olympic Legacy aren't just about sport, they are also about getting involved in your community. Sport Makers has been launched across the country as part of the Olympic Legacy. Locally, it's aim is to link over 600 volunteers with opportunities in sport across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

This is your chance to volunteer in local sport in the lead up to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics - and beyond.

What it involves

Becoming a Sport Maker would involve attending a workshop and taking part in at least 10 hours of volunteering in sport locally.

However, we are also hoping that people will want to continue volunteering in sport - there are many local opportunities to suit a wide range of skills and interests.

We just need a few details about you, your interests and availability - so we can get in touch.

Become a Sport Maker and make a difference.
