Leisure Centres and Sports Centres
The following sports and leisure centres are owned by Wyre
Forest District Council and are managed on behalf of the Council by
Wyre Forest Leisure Community Association.
A variety of activities and clubs are programmed at each of the
Centre which cater for the general public of all ages. Please

Sports Development
The Sports Development team offers advice and support to sports
clubs within the Wyre Forest district. Working together with the
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Sports Partnership, the team helps
clubs work towards achieving “Clubmark” - the nationally recognised
accreditation for sports clubs.
The support offered to clubs includes: locating training courses
for sports coaches, advising on policies such as child protection
and offering an administration service.

The Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire urge all
sport clubs across the two Counties to update or input your club
information on our club database which can be found on www.morethansport.com/clubs
The Sports Partnerships club database allows us to have direct
contact with your sports clubs, updating you on such things as new
funding streams, local, regional and national updates, club
development, events and opportunities to get involved with.

into FOOTBALL" in the Wyre Forest and across the district. If you

Kidderminster Lions FC needs you!
Kidderminster Lions Football Club are currently looking for
girls aged 9-10 years old to come and play football. The club is FA
Charter Standard with numerous coaches being level 2 qualified. The
local club is very keen to have more girls teams. If you are

Badminton Youth Forum - Lead the way in Badminton
Badminton England are looking for people aged between 16 and 21
years old to join the regional badminton youth forum. It will
provide young people interested in badminton the chance to have
their say, develop their skills, receive training opportunities and
to support new initiative in their region.
