View the creative works of talented local artists including fine art, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, and photographic. Works will be on show at the museum and across a number of venues within easy walking distance.  

1940s Weekend

10am - 4.00pm

Go underground in our genuine World War II Air Raid Shelter. Experience the sound of sirens, the words of Churchill and the songs of Force sweetheart Vera Lynn! lemonade and 1940s treats in the cafe.   

Uncovering the Wyre Forest

In Celebration of the Cultural Olympiad and 2010 Geofest . Discover the history of the hidden forest with the Earth Heritage Trust. See the Hagley Falcons in action and enjoy walks, talks, trails and fun with fossils and dinosaurs.

Rock and Fossil Roadshow with the Earth Heritage Trust. Dinosaur activities, fossil casting & painting, specimen identification, replica Anglo Saxon Burial & Roman Pottery.

Music in the Gardens

Sunday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th August 
2pm-4pm

Popular bands play in the delightful Jubilee gardens. Bring along a picnic and a chair or enjoy refreshments from the museum cafe.

A summer sizzler of entertainment for the whole family. Traditional games in the garden, face painting, music, quizzes and competitions.

Heritage Open Day

A selection of costumes from the museum's collection will be on show to mark this national event celebrating our cultural heritage.

Harvest Fair

A celebration of traditional and natural products. Cider pressing, traditional ales, pig roast, apple identification, local produce, preserves and pickles all give a flavour of the day.

Join us for an annual autumn event linked to the Bewdley Festival. See the festival exhibition in the Wyre Forest Gallery.

A fun packed Christmas event for the 'Bewdley's Light's Festival'. Santa's grotto, Xmas craft activities, craft fair and seasonal refreshments. Finish the day in the town enjoying the Santa's parade and the Bewdley light's switch on.
