The majority of the museum is accessible by wheelchair with level entry or ramped access. One wheelchair is available for use on site. (It is advisable to book in advance by telephoning: 01299 403573 or 01299 404740)
The museum provides interest and learning opportunities for people of all ages and abilities through the varied displays and on site activities. Visitors can enjoy, visual craft demonstrations, audio histories, hands on activities, written histories, imaginatively displayed artefacts, tactile displays and a sensory herb garden with water feature.
During most weekends, bank holdiays and the main holiday periods voluntary stewards provide Air Raid Shelter Tours, brass rubbing and family activities with a historical theme.
The museum's events, exhibitions and education programmes are open to all members of the public. Please contact Bewdley Museum's Education Department on 01299 403573 if you wish to arrange a special event to cater for a particular disability.

Bewdley is situated 4 miles to the west of Kidderminster off the A456 Leominster Road on the B4190. Town car parks are situated within easy walking distance of the museum.
