What does my recycling become?
All your paper becomes newspapers; cardboard is made into new cardboard packaging.
Glass bottles and jars, become new glass bottles and jars, or they can be used in making new roads.
Alluminium and steel cans become new cans, parts for cars, aeroplanes and other metal items.
Paper is separated and used to make new paper products. The plastic parts are either further separated or used as a fuel to power the paper mill.
Plastic items become packaging, fleece clothing, pipes, outdoor furniture and lots of other plastic items.
