Recycling and Rubbish Collection Days
have changed!
If you're not sure when your new collection day is you
can find your new collection
day
Please note that even if your collection day has not
changed the sequence of collections may have
changed.
During the first week (week commencing 14th May) rubbish will be
collected and recycling during the second (week commencing 21st
May).
We'd like to remind residents
that we ask for bins to be available for collection by 6:00am on
your collection day.
The changes are a result of
collection crews now working a 4-day week from Tuesday-Friday.
Crews will still work a 37 hours in a week but now in less days.
Because of this collections may begin earlier in the morning.
Crews will not return to collect
missed bins as a result of bins not being put out in time.
Contamination
Please note that we cannot accept
plastic bags in your green wheelie bin for recycling or to contain
recyclable material - items must be placed loose in your bin.
