Public Recycling Bank Locations

Important information; Carton Recycling
Banks
Please note that the 'Tetra-Pak'
carton recycling banks have now been removed from all bring sites
in the district. Cartons have been accepted for recycling through
your green wheelie bin since July 2010 which has reflected in a
great reduction of use in the bring sites and it is no longer
viable for these facilities to remain. You can still take you
cartons to the Household Recycling
Centres in the district if you do not have access to
kerbside recycling facilities.
|
|
Whilst the majority of the district
has access to kerbside recycling facilities, public recycling banks
are still popular for residents that don't have access to a wheelie
bin collection or have occasional excess recycling.
Some materials, such as textiles,
shoes, foil and books/CD's/DVD's can only be recycled through
these public recycling banks and not through the kerbside
service. For more information on where to recycle some common
household items, please read our Recycling
A-Z.

Bra Recycling
Bra collection boxes are available in
the Kidderminster Hub and Stourport Civic Centre. Donating
your old bra (in any condition!) helps to raise money for the
Breast Cancer Unit at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. View the press release.
We aim to keep the recycling banks looking as clean and tidy as
possible by emptying them regularly and tidying around them.
However, if you should spot any problems please contact Customer
Services on 01562 732928 or Email the
Worcestershire Hub

Please be aware that leaving items next to a bank is
classed as Flytipping, for which you may be fined.
