'Design a Recycling Postcard' Competition
Pupils across Wyre Forest were
asked to help with a very important task; we needed a colourful,
fun and informative postcard designing that would let people know
not to put plastic bags in their recycling.
What a fantastic job they did!
We had dozens of entries from
children as young as 4 who'd used their knowledge of recycling
and creative design to draw and make lovely postcards that got
the message across perfectly.
And the winner is.....
Megan Davies, age 10, from Comberton Primary
School
Runners-Up Prizes go to.....
Faith Morris, age 7, from Far Forest Primary
School
And...
Larna Darby, age 6, from Stourport Primary
School
Well done to our winners
and many thanks to everyone that took part
Megan wins her school £50 to be
spent on an eco-project of their choice plus a Remarkable recycled stationary
set for herself. Her design will be made into a postcard that will
be distributed across the district and used to send messages to
friends and family across the country...and the world!
Faith and Larna also win a Remarkable recycled stationary
set each.
Schools; look out for details of the 'From Litter; to
Glitter!' competition coming soon.
