Development Control

The Development Control team provides a regulatory service and deal with:

• the processing of Planning applications, Listed Building, Advertisement and other applications;
• supporting the Council's decision at any subsequent appeal;
• providing advice and guidance and assessing whether a planning application is required
• giving advice on matters concerning trees and high hedges;
• investigating breaches of planning control through the Enforcement function

We always aim to provide a high quality service that is timely, fair and equitable to everyone.

There is no planning reception at Duke House, however a Duty Planning Officer is available at the Worcestershire Hub, Town Hall, Kidderminster from 11.00am to 1.00pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday (excluding bank holidays).
