Dog Warden Service - Lost and Stray Dogs

Stray dogs can be a danger for many reasons, not least of which being that they could cause a serious road accident or bite a child.

The Police are responsible for dangerous dogs.

All dogs must be provided with a means of identification, such as a collar and tag and/or microchip. For further information, please email our Customer Service team

If you are reporting that you have seen/found a stray dog:

To report a stray dog, please telephone 01562 732928 (outside of normal office hours your call will be re-directed)

If you want to report a lost dog:

If you have lost your dog, please telephone Customer Services on 01562 732928 during normal office hours.  You could also try calling local kennels and the Police to see if they have information about your dog.
