How can I dispose of large household items?

First consider whether there could be a use for your items elsewhere.

Local charitable furniture and electrical reuse organisations may collect your items for free. Some can even repair broken furniture and electrical items to sell in their shops. Try the British Heart Foundation, call 0844 248 9132 for more information or look in the Yellow Pages for other local charities. Please note that the British Heart Foundation will only collect goods in working order.
