Parks and Green Spaces

Wyre Forest District Council’s Parks and Green Spaces Section is responsible for the development management and protection of more than 600 acres of public green space within the Wyre Forest district.

This includes beautiful areas such as:

• Riverside Meadows, Stourport-on-Severn
• Queen Elizabeth II Gardens, Bewdley
• Riverside Meadows, Bewdley
• Garden of Rest, Bewdley
• Brinton Park, Kidderminster
• St George's Park, Kidderminster
• Baxter Gardens, Kidderminster
• Springfield Park, Kidderminster
• Broadwaters Park, Kidderminster

In addition, we also manages the Council’s outdoor sports pitch facilities and play areas.

We carry out maintenance work on all Wyre Forest District Council-owned grounds. The Parks section maintains its own greenhouses and produces plants. Any surplus produced is sold to the general public.
