The Worcestershire Children and Young People's Strategic
Partnership is a theme group of the Worcestershire Partnership
set up to improve the quality of life for children and young
people. Their vision is for "... Worcestershire to be the best
place for children and young people to grow up."
The Worcestershire
Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB) consists of senior
representatives of the main agencies which have a responsibility to
safeguard children. It is a forum for establishing and guiding the
services in Worcestershire to safeguard and promote the well-being
of children. Inter-Agency working is at the heart of safeguarding
and protecting children and the WSCB works to ensure that all the
agencies communicate with one another in the interests of the
child.
'Meeting the needs of children and young people" is one of the 6
main themes for Wyre Forest Matters'
Sustainable Community Strategy 'Making a Real Difference'. Its
vision is that "All children and young people in the Wyre Forest
district are healthy, safe, enjoy life and achieve success, make a
positive contribution and benefit from economic wellbeing."
