Your community - Your voice

Residents of Rock Parish together with residents of Ribbesford are to be asked if they think Ribbesford should be combined with Rock Parish Council.

Following a request from Rock Parish Council, Wyre Forest District Council will undertake a Community Governance Review.  Electors in Ribbesford and Rock, and other interested parties, will be asked for their thoughts on whether Ribbesford should be combined with Rock Parish Council.

Councillor Julian Phillips, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member with responsibility for Place-shaping said,

“This is an excellent opportunity for people in Ribbesford and Rock Parish to have their say in how they are represented at the very heart of the community.  This community governance review allows for review and changes to community governance within Rock and Ribbesford, and encourages people to have a say in the governance for the community they live in.”

The consultation will be open until the end of December after which recommendations will be published.

Full details, including a timetable and background papers are available on Community Governance Review pages of this website.
