Review of polling places in Wyre Forest
A review of polling places in Wyre Forest district is being
undertaken by Wyre Forest District Council.
The consultation period runs until 16th January
2012. Details can be viewed on the website or by going to
the Worcestershire Hub.
Ian Miller, Returning Officer, said,
"The Council completed a review of polling places earlier in
2011 and a number of changes were made for the elections and
referendum held in May. As a result of feedback and other issues
that have emerged, there is a need to undertake a further review. I
would encourage local electors and other interested parties to
comment on the proposals. We also want to know your views on the
suitability and accessibility of the current polling stations. For
example did you find getting into the building difficult or was
parking a problem for you on polling day? If you know of a
more suitable alternative venue for a polling station, then please
let us know."
The consultation paper proposes a number of changes across
the district and sets out the reasons for them.
