Fun on the Farm at Brinton Park
The annual Fun Day for Under Fives organised by Wyre Forest
District Council was a huge success this year with more than 1000
visitors turning out to enjoy the sunshine.
At the event last Thursday (30th June) the animals were the
stars of the show with large rabbits, pigs and donkey rides being
the favourite attractions. The face painting was a hit with
all ages as was the samba drumming.
Thanks to involvement from local Children's Centres, families
climbed aboard the Big Red Party Bus which offered arts and crafts
workshops for all.
Councillor Tracey Onslow, Wyre Forest District Council's Cabinet
Member for Community Well-being said,
"This event is a firm favourite on the family calendar. It gets
the summer activity programme off to a great start and although
it's aimed mainly at under 5s, there are always loads of activities
for the whole family. Thank you to everyone who got involved with
this free event making it a day to remember once again."
