Council service retains top standard
The excellent quality of service provided by Wyre Forest
District Council's Building Control team has been confirmed by the
retention of an internationally recognised standard for Quality
Management Systems ISO 9001.
The Council's Building Control team deals with construction and
building work of all types, assessing and monitoring work to ensure
that it is safe and meets all requirements and regulations.
The ISO 9001 standard requires organisations to make sure
management processes meet customer needs and expectations and that
their services and procedures are responsive to changing and
evolving practices.
The Council service underwent an independent, external audit of
their advisory processes and procedures in November 2010 before
certification was awarded.
