Census pilot in Kidderminster

Kidderminster has been chosen as one of the towns for a pilot of the Census survey.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is carrying out a cenCensus largesus next March to find out more about the people who live in England and Wales and about the make-up of local neighbourhoods.  Then questionnaires will be sent out to around 25 million households to complete.  Before this happens the ONS is conducting a pilot of the survey in the West Midlands involving around 300 homes, including households in Kidderminster.  The pilot survey is taking place in October and November.

Anyone who is asked to take part in the pilot will receive a letter from the ONS/Census asking if they are happy to have a visit and go through the questionnaire.

More information on the Census can be found on our Census Page or by visiting http://www.census.gov.uk/
