Council arranges free evening car parking
Wyre Forest residents are being urged to shop local in Bewdley,
Stourport-on-Severn, and Kidderminster this festive season.
And to make this even easier, parking on the 
Council's car parks will be free after 4pm every
evening from Sunday 28th November until Saturday January
8th and free at Weavers Wharf Kidderminster after
6.30pm.
Councillor Marcus Hart, Wyre Forest District Council's Cabinet
Member for Housing & Environmental Services said,
"Our towns have much to offer shoppers when buying for the
festive season, ranging from gifts and cards to Christmas treats
and an outfit for that special occasion.
We want to encourage people to shop locally and also take part
in evening events so we hope the free evening parking will help
both local businesses and shoppers alike"
